Jack Nicholson started his career during the late ‘50s in small roles. After a few years of hard work and dedication to improving his craft, he was able to land his breakout project in the 1969 drama, Easy Rider. Success started to follow after that and he was able to grab a seat in projects such as Five Easy Pieces in 1970,
The Last Detail in 1973, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in 1975 where he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Credits to his talent, he had accumulated a dozen Academy Award nominations which were the most number of times a male actor won an Academy Award. Although he didn’t officially announce his retirement to the public, we haven’t seen the actor in new flicks since 2010.
MORGAN FREEMAN – 82 YEARS OLD
We all know who Morgan Freeman is. The man with a sweet and narrator voice is one of Hollywood’s best actors in history. If you think of successful box-office hits, he is usually part of the cast. SEAN CONNERY-89 YEARS OLD
Sean Connery is a retired Scottish actor and producer. You must heard the James Bond, he was the first actor to portray the character in seven Bond films. As people say, he can not be named the best James Bond because he is James Bond. Later in 1988, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “The Untouchables”.
People also declared him the “Sexiest Man of the Century.” In 2006, he retired after receiving a lifetime achievement award from the American Film Institute. Recently, he spent most of time on his love of golf.
JULIE ANDREWS – 83 YEARS OLD
Julie Andrews started her career playing in the West End in the late 40s, then she found her way to Broadway in 1954 with her debut show, The Boy Friend. She was also dubbed as “Britain’s youngest prima donna.” The stage actress shifted her focus to the film industry and starred in the Mary Poppins film back in 1964.
The film was well-received by the audience and they later learned that she’ll be playing Maria von Trapp in the motion picture, The Sound of Music. Numerous award-giving bodies gave her credit for the contributions she made in both the film and stage industry. Recently, she made a cameo appearance in the 2018 film, Mary Poppins Returns.
SAM ELLIOTT– 75 YEARS OLD
When talked about cowboys and ranchers，Sam Elliott’s name always appears on the list. As an American actor, he began his film career with “The Way West”, he is known for playing gun-slinging cowboys in films like “The Quick and the Dead”.
